Vexillum coccineum (Reeve, 1844). (1228).

Très allongée, spire turriculée de 10 tours convexes. Côtes axiales peu marquées, 20 par tour. Stries spirales peu profondes, 14 sur les tours
    Orange avec une ligne spirale blanche en dessous du milieu des tours. Ouverture haute, lèvre externe orange foncé, intérieur blanc, 13 lires dans l'ouverture.
    Vivante dans le sable à 20-30 m. Très rare.
    Hauteur maximale 73 mm.

Vexillum interstriatum (G. B. Sowerby II, 1870) Coll. Martin.

9 worls, convex and diminishing in staircase way. 5 rounded axial folds per half-whorl, overcrossed by fine spiral furrows, numbering 7 on whorls.
    White, lower part of whorls brown, the brown colour going higher in their intervals. A wide brown spiral band on body-whorl.
    In muddy black snd at 60 m, Souris Chaude.
    Height 42,4 mm.

Vexillum lyratum (Lamarck, 1822). (Coll. Martin).

Biconical, rather slender. Spire of 10 whorls, including protoconh. 8 axial folds per half-whorl, narrow with wider intervals. Intervals with spiral furrows,numbering 8 on penultimate whorl.
    White with a brown spiral band at the upper part of whorls, paler on the folds, darker in their intervals.
    1 spmn mort dans le sable de 20 m, cap La Houssaye.
   Height 40.9 mm.
